Ukraine is interested in British investors

  British Embassy Kyiv jointly with the European Business Association met with British business community in Ukraine on September 26th at the Her Majesty’s Ambassador’s Residence to discuss Ukraine’s attractiveness for foreign investors. The purpose of the meeting was to gather the representatives of the British business who run their business both in Ukraine and in the United Kingdom. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island to Ukraine Judith Gough has opened the event and shared her perspective about the business opportunities in Ukraine and for the Great Britain in particular. The moderator of the event was Anna Derevyanko, Executive Director of the European Business Association. Dan Bilak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UkraineInvest and Kostyantyn Chyzhyk, Deputy Head of the Office of the National Investment Council were invited to the discussion as speakers. Mr Bilak and Mr Chyzhyk highlighted that Ukraine is interesting for both European and American investors. Dan Bilak has focused on the biggest investment priorities for Ukraine in Europe – they are investors from the United Kingdom, Germany and France. “Join the associations because business associations strengthen the voice of Ukrainian business in dialogue with Ukrainian government and promotes their development”, - Mr Bilak and Mr Chyzhyk concluded.
