Training Skilled Workers Together – Companies are invited to apply for “Skill Partnerships”

13/ 07/ 2026
Ukraine’s economy is under pressure. Companies are responding with new technologies and adapted processes – but the VET system is not keeping pace everywhere. The Call for Skill Partnerships for Productivity by the Skills Alliance for Ukraine offers a structured framework for companies to work directly with training providers to set up or scale labour market-relevant training. The goal: to train urgently needed skilled workers through modern curricula, well-trained teachers, new learning formats and technologies. The principle is simple: three partners – three contributions. Each partner contributes what they do best. Companies provide, for example, technological know-how, staff, training equipment or internships; training providers contribute didactic expertise, infrastructure and certification; and the Skills Alliance offers technical support and co-financing for selected measures.  Financing of the initiatives is shared. The company covers at least 50% of the total project costs, and the Skills Alliance contributes between EUR 50,000 and 200,000, proportional to the company’s investment. International and Ukrainian companies already active in Ukraine are eligible to participate. Proposals for Skill Partnerships can be submitted until 31 August 2026.  Interested? Further information and all necessary documents are available on our website: Skill Partnerships for Productivity - Skills Alliance for Ukraine – Global Partnerships Empowering … Do you want to know more?
