SoftServe launches partnership with Ukrainian Cultural Foundation

12/ 07/ 2021
SoftServe has signed a memorandum with the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. The company will develop an online platform to launch cultural initiatives in the Ukrainian regions. The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation is a state-owned institution created in 2017 to facilitate the development of culture and arts in Ukraine. The Foundation has implemented dozens of significant projects already that modernize cultural institutions and events. Among the UCFs projects - innovative digital platforms for Book Forum Lviv, Molodist Kyiv Film Festival, Bandershtat, and Respublica music festivals, the Sikor Sky virtual museum, and media exhibitions of Ukrainian artists in Madrid, etc.  SoftServe will strengthen the work of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation with its expertise and develop the online platform Kulturnyi prostir. The platform will become a place for building effective partnerships between businesses and artists, cultural institutions, creative industries, authorities, and NGOs.    We are glad that we have the opportunity to join the process of cultural changes in the country. UCF is an institution that brings Ukrainian art closer to the modern consumer, which is very necessary today. I am sure that thanks to the Kulturnyi prostir platform, there will be many interesting and authentic projects because the socially responsible business will be able to support such projects financially. We believe in this project and will apply our experience and expertise to create a truly unique and innovative project for the country, comments Dmytro Ivanov, Senior Vice President of Technology, SoftServe.  Kulturnyi prostir will contain a catalog of cultural projects supported by the UCF, Educational Hub, interactive map of cultural areas of Ukraine, Index of cultural activity and creative potential of the regions, Case study, lists of managers and volunteers, information about the industry and business sector that supports culture.  We are joining our efforts to implement the project of the online communication platform Kulturnyi prostir. The Foundation will continue to work strategically to develop the cultural and creative ecosystem in Ukraine. The platform will contribute to both the creation of the cultural environment and the preservation of cultural heritage, the establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial cooperation between the state, business and civil society, local authorities, private sector organizations, and in particular - effective investment in culture, art and creative industries, says Vladyslav Berkovsky, Executive Director, Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. It will take about a year to work on a project, the partners say. The release of the platform is planned for the first part of 2022.    About SoftServe SoftServe is a digital authority that advises and provides at the cutting-edge of technology.
