EBA Odesa Personal & Corporate Efficiency Studio: “Decision making as a lifestyle”

10/ 02/ 2021
Decision making is a cognitive process. It is how you come to a choice based on analysis, forecasting, optimization, economic justification, or alternative selection. Often in practice, even good decisions can lead to bad results, because the result, one way or another, can be influenced not only by internal but also external factors. Moreover, in conditions of uncertainty, insufficient information, complete or partial lack of information, the decision making process can become even more difficult. On February 10, 2021, during the EBA Odesa Personal & Corporate Efficiency Studio, we talked about how to make the decision-making process as simple and efficient as possible. So, the speaker of event Felix Morozovskiy - certified business trainer, expert on management and sales, psychologist shared the valuable knowledge of where decisions are made and helped to master a science of the correct choice. In particular, participants discussed the concepts of thinking and principles of the brain, levels of awareness and types of intelligence. Also, in our search, we looked at decision theory and analyzed what are the pitfalls and bugs of thinking that affect decision making.  Therefore, each of our actions is a small decision that we make consciously or unconsciously. However, we can become much more effective and successful if we know the basic principles of the brain, free from the fear of mistakes and understand the consequences that entail the choice of a particular scenario. After all, decision-making as a lifestyle is not only endless reflection, but also actions that lead us to the desired result.
