01/ 04/ 2022
Over the week, attitudes towards some countries have deteriorated. This is evidenced by the results of a survey of the urban population of Ukraine aged 18-60 years, which has been conducted by Kantar Ukraine. Conducted on March 19-20, 2022. Over the past week, the perception of some countries, in particular Germany, China, and Japan, has deteriorated among the Ukrainian population. Currently, respondents are most sympathetic to Poland, the UK, the Baltic states (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia), and Canada. The most negative perception of support was expressed towards Hungary (15%), Israel (14%), and China (5%). Regarding the assistance from international institutions, respondents consider the International Criminal Court in The Hague (45%), support for the International Monetary Fund, and general support of Western countries (40% each) to be the most effective. Over the past week, public opinion of the support for Ukraine by the Red Cross has improved by 7% (39%). The most crucial areas of support are considered to be humanitarian and financial areas – 65% and 56% of positive assessments by the respondents, respectively.
