The first season of the Business Running Club has started

06/ 09/ 2021
Ready, steady ... go! The European Business Association and the Creative States launched the first season of the Business Running Club on September 3 at the Stand-up event How my RUNdezvous starts. With a view to inspire our club members, we invited the star speakers who shared their stories of how to make running a lifestyle and achieve the set goals in the sport. Let’s run - this will be fun! Ilia Kenigshtein, founder and CEO of Creative States “Running gets you close to a state of nirvana. You run, you get into the rhythm, you draw energy from it, which you then convert into personal and professional achievements. I run at my own pace. Running produces a large dose of adrenaline, which then makes you feel good all day. The main thing is to have a super goal that will make you get out of bed. My goal is to reach the highest mountain peaks and running helps me to be fit enough for this. Maksym Nefodov, Chairman of the Kyiv City Council Commission on Digital Transformation and Administrative Services “You dont need to put surreal efforts to run. A human body is by nature created for running. I play sports for the sake of beauty, not the result. I like to enjoy running. In terms of time, this is the best sport. While jogging I listen to audiobooks, you can do it both alone and with friends. However, after the first 2 kilometers, you have to practice under the supervision of a coach. He has the outsiders view of you and gives good advice. Yaroslav Zheleznyak, MP, head of the Voice faction in the Verkhovna Rada “I would definitely recommend running if I were asked to choose one kind of sport. At some point, running gives you some gambling vibes. It is convenient, you do not need additional equipment, only running shoes. And if you learn how to do it correctly, running will be easy. Tetiana Berezhna, Counselor Vasil Kisil & Partners “Running is about not having restrictions on yourself in life and sports. I once dreamed of running a half marathon in 1 hour and 50 minutes and thought it was impossible. The wisest decision that I have made in my running career is to start training with a coach. After all, he will show you a shorter way to achieve your goal. At the same time, one should not focus purely on the result. Keep looking for your own format that you enjoy.” Oleksii Kovalenko, owner of EpiKur and EpiHappy “As a first workout, I advise beginners simply to put on sneakers and start running. You run for 15 minutes, and then alternate it with walking. Do not make yourself not wanting anything. Surround yourself with people who run. If necessary, give yourself a kick. Because you have everything to start the training tomorrow. We thank all the speakers who shared their experiences and interesting running stories. We would like to remind the participants that the Business Running Club lasts from September 6 to October 8. Every Monday from 11:00 to 12:00 there will be open lectures on habit formation, running anatomy, and healthy eating. Also, every Tuesday and Thursday at 07:00 we will consolidate the theory with practical classes together with a professional coach. Join us for the run!
