SoftServe in cooperation with the Lviv Regional Council launches “STOP COVID-19” online platform

  The Lviv Regional Council and SoftServe specialists have developed an online platform “STOP COVID-19” and chatbots. The purpose of this platform is to unload emergency medical care. From now by https://covid-19.lvivoblrada.gov.ua/ Lviv residents can find out where to address in the case of coronavirus suspicious. To make it easier, its also available through chatbots in a Telegram and Viber. The resource contains comprehensive information including the list of contacts and medical facilities in the region indicating contact family doctors, and - relevant distribution map Covid-19 in Ukraine. In addition, the site briefly provides with information about coronavirus symptoms, a group of risk spreading disease and preventive measures. “The purpose of our initiative is very simple,” says Oleksandr Hanushchyn, the chairman of the Lviv Regional Council. - Conscious residents of Lviv region know that in case of coronavirus suspicious or deterioration in the health, there is no necessity to immediately call an ambulance. According to the protocol, a person should first of all contact family doctor, get a consultation and his plan of action. In such a way, the information about the family doctors name and address could be easily found from the site or chatbot.” SoftServe has created this platform on a volunteer basis and is planning further steps towards its development and possible expansion into other regions as well. “Once the idea to create the information resource to help the people during the coronavirus epidemic, appeared, our specialists, together with the regional council workers, immediately began to realize it. In fact, in 5 days, we developed a web application with a database of regional doctors and medical institutions available also in Viber and Telegram. We also are planning to launch WhatsApp, - said SoftServe Senior Vice President, Head of Charity Fund Open Eyes, Dmytro Ivanov. “We will continue to support such initiatives and work together.” In turn, the chairman of the Regional State Administration Maxim Kozitsky has emphasized, - “The proposed online network resource, in our opinion, will help with the prevention and fight against the spread of dangerous coronavirus in Lviv region. It will also answer the most common questions.” Considering the existence of various fake emissions into the society, the sites developers list only reliable official information sources and provide residents with up-to-date news on the coronavirus response in Lviv region.
