Author: Victoria Doskovska, attorney at Dynasty Law & Investment Recently, Ukraine began to actively use artificial intelligence (hereinafter - AI), which helps both specialists in various fields and ordinary people. The purpose of using AI can be not only to improve productivity at work or in everyday life, but also to investigate crimes. So, after the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, our law enforcement agencies got the opportunity to use the American Clearview AI software, which allows you to recognize faces. This software made it possible not only to identify the military of an enemy country, but also to establish the facts of the illegal movement of children, the commission of crimes in the occupied territories, and the recruitment of the population. This means that any person who has committed a crime can be properly identified and prosecuted. Meanwhile, when using Clearview AI, there is a very thin line between helping a country at war and violating human rights, in particular, to protect its personal data. In many developed countries, the manufacturer of the specified software has already been fined and obliged to remove from the database all records made in such countries. Speaking about artificial intelligence, it is impossible not to pay attention to the introduction of the Chat GPT product in Ukraine. At first glance, one may conclude that this product can replace lawyers, but this is only at first glance. Lawyers have long been using AI in their work to optimize and improve their work, in particular, to analyze contracts, search for information in large databases, and even to predict court decisions. Chat GPT has become just an additional tool to improve your workflow Dynasty Law & Investments team of real, not virtual, professionals will gladly help you solve the problem, including with the intelligent use of AI.
