AI Assistant for an E-Service

01/ 04/ 2025
The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine is taking a revolutionary step in the field of public services, for the first time introducing an artificial intelligence module for the automated verification of applications for participation in competitions for international youth exchange projects. This innovative tool, developed within the EGAP Program, will significantly simplify the application and processing process, making it more efficient and transparent, and will also contribute to attracting more people willing to participate in the competition. From now on, when submitting an application through the electronic system, competition participants will be able to use the help of AI, which will analyze the content of the completed sections and provide preliminary conclusions and recommendations for improving the application. This will help to avoid typical mistakes and increase the chances of success in the competition. The introduction of an AI tool that uses a neural network model adapted for automated application verification creates a number of advantages for both participants and the Ministry. For participants, this means improving the quality of completed applications through instant recommendations, reducing the risk of errors and inconsistencies, as well as saving time on the final verification of documents. For the Ministry, this means reducing the time for processing applications, reducing the impact of the human factor on application evaluation, and automating routine checks. The integrated AI module performs the following key functions: Analysis of text data for compliance with requirements and detection of inconsistencies Automatic full or partial verification of key sections of the application Generating comments and recommendations for improving the content of the application When using the automated application verification module, it is important to remember a few key points. Firstly, the time required to verify an application may vary depending on the amount of information provided. Secondly, users have the opportunity to verify their applications an unlimited number of times, which allows them to make the necessary adjustments. Thirdly, the use of the AI module is completely voluntary, and each applicant decides independently whether to use this function. Finally, it should be remembered that the recommendations provided by AI are not mandatory for use, and the final decision on submitting the application always remains with the applicant. The introduction of the AI module is an important step towards the digital transformation of public services in Ukraine. We are confident that this innovative tool will help implement projects for young people and make a significant contribution to the development of our country. Applications for project competitions within the framework of Ukrainian-Polish youth exchanges and youth exchanges between Ukraine and Lithuania can be submitted until April 20 at the following link: https://obminy.mms.gov.ua   The service was developed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine within the framework of EGAP Program implemented by East Europe Foundation with the support of the Swiss government.
