The recent addition to the Sayenko Kharenko team demonstrates this commitment. Six lawyers have been appointed as the firm’s new Counsels. Each brings impressive experience and expertise in various legal practices.
Tymur Enkhbaiar specialises in real estate, infrastructure, and construction matters, advising on M&A transactions and establishing a corporate presence of foreign investors to enter the Ukrainian market.
His expertise covers a wide range of transactions and projects involving office, industrial, retail, residential, recreational real estate and transport and logistics infrastructure – lease and sale, public-private partnership projects, brownfield and greenfield investments, built-to-suit, donor projects for the reconstruction of Ukraine, structuring of real estate transactions and operating activities of businesses with real estate assets at their core.
He also provides full regulatory support to clients on issues related to land allocation, licensing, design and construction, including the use of FIDIC contracts.

Mykhailo Grynyshyn focuses on M&A, corporate governance, and general corporate law matters. Mykhailo’s professional experience includes advising clients on complex transactional projects in the financial, energy, IT, and media sectors. He also conducts legal due diligence of companies in various sectors of the economy, drafting transactional documents and advising on corporate structuring. Mykhailo advises state-owned banks and other private and public sector clients on corporate governance matters. He was a member of the working group of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and IFIs on corporate governance reforms in state-owned banks. Volodymyr Hrunskyi, as a new counsel at Sayenko Kharenko, focuses on intellectual property litigation with a particular emphasis on defending pharmaceutical companies in patent disputes. His expertise includes anti-competition, trademark, patent and utility model disputes, industrial design and copyright disputes, mediation, etc. Volodymyr has extensive experience handling cases related to fighting counterfeiting and protecting intellectual property rights during customs border movements.
Julia Kuyda assists clients on various antitrust law matters involving merger control, cartels, abuse of dominance and unfair competition. Julia also has extensive experience in antitrust law issues related to multinational and domestic acquisitions and in investigations on violations of Ukrainian competition laws.
Sergiy Protyven represents clients in complex litigation, bankruptcy, and enforcement proceedings. He regularly handles corporate, banking, debt collection, and real estate disputes. Sergiy also advises protecting foreign investors’ rights, disputes with public authorities, and defending businesses against unlawful raiding.
Dmytro Riabikin specialises in private wealth management and corporate law and advises on English law M&A transactions. Dmytro’s experience includes advising clients on complex international and local M&A projects in the banking, IT, telecommunications, insurance, pharmaceuticals, and other sectors, drafting transactional documents, and advising on corporate structuring in Ukraine and abroad.
