EBA Odesa Business Networking Session

    The Unlimit Ukraine (UU) project initiation by the EBA reflects  logical continuation of the Associations activity. Today it brings together more than 900 international and domestic  businesses in Ukraine, contributing to the improvement of the investment climate in the country. The UU progect goal is to create different opportunities of development for the Ukrainian medium, small and micro-businesses (indivisual-entrepreneurs).  In order to present prospects for regional SMEs growth, the EBA Odesa Office organized Business Networking Session on May 17, 2018. The Unlimit Ukraine project coordinator Elena Ayrault clarified the preconditions for creating, aims and conditions for participation. In particular, she emphasized that any person-entrepreneur without limiting activities could join. Attendees learned about benefits of UU, for example:  attanding  Annual SME Forum, educational programs of the EBA Management Development Centre;  visiting networking events and special projects; promotion by publishing companys news at the UU sources. By the way, the opportunity to get free advices from the initial project partners (large international, European and Ukrainian member-companies) invocked extra interest. Yuliya Itygina, a representative of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Odesa (EBA-member), spoke about the support of SMEs under the EU4Business initiative. According to her, the EBRD has been providing grants for attraction of local consultants and international experts and its services partial compensation  since 2010. As result, the business is transformed in a qualitative way. During the networking in a cozy atmosphere of the Il Decameron hotel, guests met and exchanged contacts, enjoyed the delights of Limonchello and drinks from the Wines of the World, received pleasant prizes from Oh My Look and other partners of the evening.
