EBA Seminar in Dnipro: Bye-Bye, BVI

14/ 06/ 2018
“The changes are inevitable” – this was the first statement of INTEGRITES International Law Firm experts Victoriia Fomenko, Tax and Customs Practice Counsel, and Oleg Kotliar, Tax and Customs Practice Associate, at the seminar “Bye-bye, BVI” held on June 14 in Dnipro. During the seminar, speakers brought up topical business issues for financial directors, heads of legal departments and chief accountants – representatives of EBA member-companies. Particularly, they talked about how to minimize the tax risks inherent in the implementation of the MLI convention; what should the Ukrainian business expect from BEPS; how to assess the risks in classical corporate as well as trading structures; what is the threat of CFC; why using “wallets” in foreign jurisdictions is no longer appropriate in the usual sense. In the end of the meeting, participants and speakers all together formed the vision of the structure of the future. The participants were keenly interested in the topic and asked many questions. We thank INTEGRITES for an interesting and useful meeting that took place at a high professional level!
