Working Meeting of EBA Regional Offices (Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv)

  On April 21, 2026, at the invitation of the Dnipro office of the European Business Association (EBA), we joined an online working meeting of representatives from the Association’s regional offices in Dnipro, Odesa, and Kharkiv. The event brought together members of Coordination Councils, committee chairs, and representatives of member companies from the regions. Participants discussed initiatives to support businesses in frontline regions and aligned on further joint actions.  Key discussion topics: — Presentation of current expectations and challenges faced by the regions — Proposals to strengthen support for businesses in frontline areas Special attention was given to: — the outcomes of existing compensation programs and opportunities for their improvement — feedback from government authorities — Discussion of the development of the platform https://frontlineregions.gov.ua/ as a business support tool — Preparation for URC 2026 in Gdańsk — regional participation, company representation, and attracting investment — The need to update the white paper on frontline regions, transitioning it into a strategic document  As part of the joint discussion, participants: — shared practical experience of doing business in frontline regions — identified key barriers and opportunities for development — emphasized the importance of coordination among regional offices Next steps: — priority areas of work were defined — responsible persons for specific initiatives were assigned — agreement reached on regular communication and coordination of actions The meeting confirmed the importance of consolidating efforts within the business community to support the economic resilience of frontline regions and to form a unified position in engagement with government authorities.
