Redcliffe Partners advised the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on EUR 2 million financing of a solar plant

  Redcliffe Partners acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to the EBRD on an additional EUR 2 million financing to be provided to Aquanova Development LLC for the construction, equipment and placing into operation of a 3.5MWp solar PV plant in the Zakarpattya Region of Ukraine. Our Banking & Finance practice provided a broad scope of transactional legal advice, including structural, security and regulatory, conducting legal due diligence of the project company, drafting and negotiating finance documents, review of project agreements, drafting, negotiating and perfecting security documents, reviewing and collecting condition precedents and issuing a legal opinion. The Redcliffe team working on the deal included Evgeniy Vazhynskiy, Senior Associate with our Banking & Finance practice, assisted by Eduard Olentsevych, Associate, and Bogdan Nykytiuk, Junior Associate. Clifford Chance Warsaw and Linklaters Milan advised EBRD on the English and Italian law aspects of the transaction, respectively.
