Business representatives discussed new changes to fiscal receipt format

  On December 23, members of the Retail Committee met with Andrii Sukhovyi, co-founder of Checkbox, Dubidoc, and Navkolo. The participants discussed legislative changes coming into effect on January 1, 2025, and their implications for business operations. According to the orders of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine No. 601 and No. 632, the format of fiscal receipts will be updated in the new year. Key changes include: Addition of new mandatory fields Simplification of receipt structure, such as the removal of certain lines like cashier and holder of the EPT QR codes on receipts will now include a link to verify the receipt on the State Tax Service website Fines for non-compliance Beyond these updates, the meeting also focused on how businesses can prepare for the changes and the challenges associated with implementation. Another topic of discussion was the requirements of Resolution No. 894, which mandates that entrepreneurs install payment terminals even in settlements with fewer than 5,000 residents. Checkbox presented a range of solutions to help businesses quickly adapt to the new standards. These included optimizing the process of updating software and ensuring the accessibility of services. Business representatives shared their suggestions for optimizing technical processes. The EBA’s Committee is expected to present its assessment of these changes soon.
