EBA-Asters Legal School moves online in the new season

  On 21 April 2020, the 14th season will start at EBA-Asters Legal Development Program (EBA-Asters Legal School), a unique free of charge platform for Ukrainian legal practitioners sharing experience and best practices to secure legal support and protection of business. All lectures in the new season will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams video conferencing platform with the possibility for participants to join the discussion and ask questions. The Schools agenda includes 6 modules on the most pressing Ukrainian legal issues in business, such us challenges and life hacks of team work from home (the lecture will be delivered by Olga Lukianova (Head of Legal Department & Compliance Officer at Henkel Ukraine), as well as compliance requirements of the competition legislation in the field of e-commerce (lecturer: Oleksandr Voznyuk, Partner at Asters). Also within the Legal Schools program Alex Milovanov, Legal Manager for Ukraine, Armenia and Moldova at Coca-Cola HBC, will shed the light on parallel import in EU and Ukraine, and Asters Partner Sergiy Grebenyuk and Counsel Orest Stasiuk will talk about law enforcement and business security in the new realities. Asters Counsel Inesa Letych will hold a lecture onusing technology to monitor employees and Asters Counsel Olesia Kryvetska will analyze the regulatory requirements for front-of-pack nutrition labelling. “Due to COVID-19 outbreak the demand for high-quality online education programs skyrocketed, – Yuliya Melnyk, EBA Deputy Director, Corporate Development, points out. Legal Development Program, a joint educational project of the EBA and Asters, always adheres to the highest standards of quality in terms of its renowned lecturers and topical content, so switching the School to online format is the most logical step possible in the new reality we all are experiencing now.
