Over UAH 3.2 million was raised during the Christmas Miracle of Hope campaign

16/ 02/ 2024
Sayenko Kharenko and Breathe Charity Fund’s Christmas Miracle of Hope initiative raised UAH 3,231,475 to support three socially essential projects.  This year’s charity initiative brought together people from around the world: The UK, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, the USA, and Ukraine. Donation amounts ranged from UAH 100 to contributions exceeding UAH 1 million. These contributions are equally valuable in achieving the goal, as they will contribute to implementing important projects.  One part of the raised funds will be directed towards the DoLadu Mental Health Lab. They will cover the costs of providing psychological assistance and rehabilitation at the Medical Rehabilitation Center “Pushcha-Voditsa” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.  A part of the donations will be allocated to the Blagomay Charity Fund to organise a two-month offline training program for girls aged 13 to 18 years. This includes covering the costs of renting the premises, technical support, lectures, advertising, and other essential aspects of the Girl Power Ukraine project.  The remaining funds will be directed towards the Starenki Charity Foundation to purchase warm kits for older people in the Chernihiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Zhytomyr regions. The kits will include blankets, pillows, bed linen sets, thermoses, LED lamps, and rugs and will be delivered to those in need.  “In the current period of trials, when our country is going through the war, charity has become essential means of support and hope for the whole society. Building a mutual aid and empathy culture by helping those in need strengthens our shared values and unites us.  We are very grateful to the organisations that devote their time and energy to solving dire problems in our country. Your work is essential and makes a difference in the lives of thousands of people.   I want to express my gratitude to everyone who participated in the fundraising. The results of this year’s campaign prove that together we can make impact on the world around us and create hope for a better future,” said Nazar Chernyavsky, partner Sayenko of Kharenko and head of the Breathe Charity Fund.
