Partner Zoryana Sozanska-Matviychuk admitted in England and Wales

14/ 06/ 2019
Redcliffe Partners is pleased to announce that Zoryana Sozanska-Matviychuk, Partner of Redcliffe Partners and Head of the M&A practice, has been admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Zoryana has become one of just a handful of Ukrainian practitioners who have successfully passed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS) exams. The QLTS exams are a mix of written and practical assessments in which candidates are tested on key areas and concepts of law, including business law, taxation, contracts, civil and criminal procedure, property law, and equity and trusts. Given the prevalence of English law on M&A and other transactions in Ukraine and globally, we see Zoryana’s admission as a significant competitive advantage. As we now have a dual-qualified expert in Redcliffe’s team, there is more to offer our clients, particularly from the perspective of cost-efficiency. Zoryana’s admission is backed by years of work on English law transactions in Ukraine, Australia and England. Her admission contributes to Redcliffe’s international expertise which already includes US and European law qualifications. “Redcliffe’s team is proud to congratulate Zoryana on her admission. We value her professional commitment and are delighted to see her tremendous growth over the past years, resulting in her recent promotion to partner. Zoryana’s expertise and admission as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales strengthens the firm’s M&A practice and providing extra value to clients.” – comments Olexiy Soshenko, Managing Partner of Redcliffe Partners.
