OTP Bank Helps Ukraine realized project “Get a child refugee ready for school”

  OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity program realized the initiative Get a child refugee ready for school. Thanks to the efforts of benefactors and bank employees, more than UAH 100,000 were collected. This money were directed for purchase of autumn and winter shoes for children from families of internal refugees from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who temporarily settled in the villages of Pancheve, Kanizh and Martonosha of Kirovohrad region. Also, employees of OTP Bank presented the children stationery, books, toys, and warm clothes, and the bank handed over about 40 computers and laptops for schoolchildrens education. In addition, the non-governmental organization Gemeinsam für die Ukraine e.V., the Lions Club of Kyiv and OTP Banks partner, the Blagomai charity fund, joined the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine project and the collection of aid to displaced families in the villages of Pancheve, Kanizh and Martonosha. Warm things for adults, beds with mattresses, blankets, canned goods, medicines and animal feed were collected and handed over by joint efforts. Thus, about 50 displaced families, in which 36 schoolchildren and the same number of preschoolers, including babies, received the most necessary things for living and education on time. To remind, earlier, OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity initiative completed the project for purchase of two lung ventilators for the Pirogov First Mobile Hospital, and collected funds for the purchase of two sets of protective clothing against X-ray radiation for the surgery of the City Clinical Hospital No. 6 of Dnipro City Council.
