Online lecture: “How to build long-term partnerships”

  On February 8, 2024, an online lecture How to build long-term partnerships was held, which revealed key aspects of interaction in the field of humanitarian projects. Establishing interaction between business, community and government is an important aspect of sustainable development of society. This process helps to create a favorable environment for effective business operation, taking into account the needs of the community and society as a whole. The speaker was Svitlana Som, a marketer, communicator, expert in business and institutional development, who helps to effectively develop and implement humanitarian projects for growth and scaling, mediates partnerships between business, government agencies and public institutions. During the event, the participants gained a deep understanding of the essence of humanitarian projects and their differences from social and humanitarian initiatives, as well as the essence of how to identify the leader and driver of the project among local NGOs. Methods for identifying key people who can become leaders and drivers of successful humanitarian initiatives were revealed. Additionally, Svitlana shared tools for effective communication, not necessarily of a personal nature, which allows maintaining a professional nature of interaction. The lecture was a step towards developing skills and strategies for those working in the field of humanitarian and social projects. The participants of the event deepened their knowledge in the key aspects of interaction and identified the important principles of successful cooperation.
