Kinstellar strengthens its Real Estate team with new Counsel in Kyiv

  April 2018 – Kinstellar, Emerging Europe and Central Asia’s leading independent law firm, is delighted to announce that Oleg Matiusha has joined its Kyiv office as Counsel and Head of the local Real Estate practice. Oleg Matiusha has 15 years of legal experience and is regarded as one of the top lawyers in Ukraine concerning real estate investment and construction matters. Oleg brings a wealth of experience in cross-border real estate, corporate/M&A, construction and infrastructure projects, retail, commercial leases, and public and private partnership matters. In his new role, Oleg will focus on real estate and land matters/deals, construction projects and construction regulatory matters, infrastructure and privatisation projects, and legal due diligence. Prior to joining Kinstellar, Oleg was part of Tier-1 real estate practices in Ukraine within major international law firms and acted on some of the most visible real estate transactions on the Ukrainian market. Oleg’s in-house experience includes working as acting head of legal with McDonald’s Ukraine and as head of legal and legal counsel with various project SPVs within ISD Corporation, one of Ukraine’s leading industrial groups. Oleg also has substantial experience with policy advocacy and legislation drafting, as he worked as an assistant to members of Ukraine’s parliament and as a key member of deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Tihipko’s construction reform working group. For several years in a row (2016–2018), Oleg has been recommended for real estate investment and construction matters in Ukraine by the leading international legal directory Legal 500, where he is described by clients as an “excellent professional.” Oleg holds Master’s degree in law from Kyiv National Economic University.
