MOST LT reported about acceptance of cargoes from Lithuania to Ukraine transiting through Poland

The Kaunas – Mostyska corridor is becoming an alternative route for the delivery of cargoes from Lithuania to Ukraine (transiting through Poland), taking into account the situation with the prohibition of transit of some commodity groups through the territory of Belarus. In Lithuania, namely in Kaunas, already operates intermodal terminal with a railway track width of 1435 mm, which handles goods arriving from or departing to other European countries. Thanks to the direct connection with Ukraine, we can talk about the “Kaunas-Mostyska” corridor. Now it is the fastest way for rail delivery of shipments from Lithuania to Ukraine.
