More than 40 humanitarian aid cars were imported within the “Railways help Ukraine” Project
Through the joint efforts of the Ukrainian and Polish companies, about 1,500 tons of humanitarian aid has been delivered to Ukrainian cities for people affected by the war. Assistance has already been received by Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions.
This is a common initiative of Ukrainian companies, the European Business Association, the Fundacja Ukraina, and Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railway).
Humanitarian aid cars have received assistance from Poland Germany Ireland and Switzerland.
It is worth reminding that several logistics companies from Poland and Ukraine have joined forces to arrange a railway corridor for delivering humanitarian aid to civilians in Ukraine.
The rail corridor has become an important way of humanitarian assistance to people in need.
The supply chain, which was initiated by the Ukrainian Railway (UZ), includes two important hubs: Sławków in Poland and Lviv in Ukraine.
