Baker McKenzie announces three promotions in the Kyiv Office

The Kyiv Office of Baker McKenzie announces three promotions, which further strengthens its TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications), ICT (International Commerce and Trade) and Corporate practices. Senior Associates Oleksiy Stolyarenko, Hanna Shtepa and Andriy Moskalyk have been promoted to Counsels. Serhiy Chorny, Co-Managing Partner of the Kyiv Office, observed that promotions of Oleksiy, Hanna and Andrii to Counsel positions reflect the Firms commitment to further develop top quality and highly efficient teams to meet the growing demand for legal services in the areas of technology (including FinTech), international trade (including sanctions-related advice) and high-end M&A and public-private partnership (PPP) projects. Oleksiy and Hanna are already known as leading market experts in their respective TMT and ICT areas, and will now have increased managerial responsibilities and authority, as well as a higher market visibility, as heads of their respective practices. Andrii is our most experienced specialist in PPP matters, and we expect him to attract and serve increased workload in this area. Hanna specializes in economic sanctions, export controls, international supplies of goods and services and public procurement and budget law regulations. Hanna is also experienced in banking and finance, debt capital markets, loans & credit facilities, insolvency and restructuring, nuclear and renewable energy projects. Oleksiy Stolyarenko heads the Kyiv Offices IT/TMT group. Oleksiy also specializes on intellectual property, information technology, personal data protection, e-commerce and advertising law.
