KPMG in Ukraine launches its 11th KPMG Review Magazine «ESG. Playing perspective»

  The 11th edition of KPMG Review Magazine ESG. Playing perspective raised the topic of ESG principles, in particular programs of sustainable development in public and private sectors, interest in ESG from regulators and donors, green finance projects, circular economy, Green Deal and carbon neutrality. The key questions of the edition are: How does business understand the concept of ESG? Why is climate change not a priority for Ukrainian business? What prevents businesses from implementing environmental approaches? What environmental projects does Ukrainian business already implement? How does the state support the transition to a circular economy? Which cities in Ukraine have chosen the ecological and sustainable vector of movement? The guests of the edition are: Iryna Stavchuk, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine for European Integration; Andriy Zdesenko, CEO and founder of Biosphere Corporation; Jason Pellmar, IFC Regional Manager for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova; Taras Vervega, co-founder and board member of SoftServe; Volodymyr Kudrytsky, Chairman of the Board of NEC Ukrenergo. For that edition it was interesting to find out which cities in Ukraine are implementing sustainable development projects and implementing ESG principles in their development strategies. Such examples were found in the Dnipro and Lviv.
