KPMG Global Cyber Day 2023: cybersecurity consultants to run educational sessions for junior and senior school students in October

  The International Cyber Security Month is a good opportunity to take care of childrens safety in the virtual space and for teaching children the basics of cyber hygiene and safe behaviour on the internet, including how to behave on social networks and during online games, and how to counter cyberbullying and tell them about the possibilities of artificial intelligence. Safe behavior in cyberspace is one of the most important skills of today.  We strive to promote the education of conscious young people armed with the necessary skills and abilities to withstand the threats of the digital space and effectively use its endless potential for development.  KPMG Global Cyber Day is a voluntary initiative by the company and KPMG employees to help develop a safe society both in Ukraine and across the wider world. How will KPMG Global Cyber Day 2023 be held in Ukraine? On October 25, KPMG Ukraines cybersecurity consultants, led by Alex Yankovski, Partner at KPMG Ukraine, with the support of the State Education Quality Service of Ukraine, will hold interactive online sessions, as part of the global initiative of the KPMG network of firms – KPMG Global Cyber Day, students in junior (aged 7–10) and senior (age 11–17) classes The sessions will include information on: how to secure anonymity; how to secure account; how to keep security in social networks; how to use artificial intelligence in a secured way; what cyberbullying is and how to counter fraud. In addition to the online sessions, KPMG experts will hold several practical sessions at schools specializing at cybersecurity. How to register for the event?
