28/ 02/ 2025
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTeyThuL944 The program “482. Made in Ukraine” supports national producers by showing examples of businesses that have remained resilient and adapted to the difficult conditions of wartime. The video project tells the story of companies and brands that participate in the National Cashback initiative of the President of Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy. One of these companies is Biosphere Corporation, which has not only maintained production but also significantly expanded its presence in international markets in recent years. The team of the video project “482. Made in Ukraine” visited Biosphere Corporations production facility in Dnipro to show how the corporations enterprises operate during the war and what technologies allow us to sell more than 1 million products daily in more than 30 countries. In the episode of the program dedicated to Biosphere, viewers will learn about how our production is organized. Andriy Zdesenko, founder and CEO of Biosphere Corporation, as well as managers and experts of the production department, took part in the filming. Household products: innovation and ecology One of the largest areas of the corporation is the production of household goods, packaging and garbage bags under the brands Freken BOK, Bonus, Vortex, and Alufix. The latest and most environmentally friendly technologies are used to manufacture these products. Some types of bags are made of 100% recycled polyethylene pellets, which significantly reduces the environmental impact. “We have more than 280 recipes for garbage bags, which allows us to precisely select materials depending on their purpose. Each roll of film used to make the bags has an individual passport. It contains information about the recipe, production, and even which extruder the film was made on. One machine can produce up to 25 rolls of garbage per minute,” says Svitlana Slisarenko, Head of Household Production. Such high standards ensure not only product quality but also consumer confidence in the Ukrainian manufacturer. One of Biospheres major innovative steps is the production of certain types of bags from biodegradable film based on corn starch. Unlike polyethylene, these bags have a much lower environmental impact. The products are sold under the GoGreen brand and are in high demand. Hygiene products: international expertise and modern technologies Another important area of the corporation is the production of hygiene products, including wet wipes. Before launching their own production, the companys executives personally visited five different manufacturing facilities in China, Israel, and Italy. After that, Biosphere created its own expert group. “We produce our own nonwoven fabric for napkins from viscose and polyester. At the next production site, it is wetted and transferred to the packaging. The main thing for wet wipes is the impregnation, which must always remain clean, free of fungi or mutations, and withstand temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees. To do this, we purify water in our own water treatment plant and produce lotions on our own,” says Igor Ryabus, Head of Hygiene Production. International level The corporations products are in demand not only in Ukraine but also abroad. In 2022, Biosphere acquired the European brand Alufix, which opened up new opportunities for international expansion. Currently, Biospheres products under this brand are successfully sold in 15 European countries. At the same time, 70% of them are manufactured at plants in Ukraine. Thanks to its ability to maintain production and introduce innovations, Biosphere Corporation continues to develop even in times of war. The corporations brands are popular among consumers, and participation in the National Cashback program not only supports the economy but also provides better opportunities for the development of national enterprises.
