Family-friendly companies: CSR Ukraine and The Page are launching a new survey

  Organizing the evacuation of personnel and their families from dangerous areas, establishing a playroom in the workplace for employees children, implementing a flexible schedule and remote work for those who need to spend time with their families, assisting employees family members who enlisted in the army, or organizing a New Years Eve party for parents with children... In recent years, such methods have become standard for socially responsible Ukrainian businesses committed to focusing not just on their employees but also on the employees immediate circle, the family. The goal of the Best Family-Friendly Companies Index 2023 CSR Ukraine and The Page are launching a new survey to produce the Best Family-Friendly Companies Index 2023. According to the organizers, the Index will assist businesses in implementing and sharing best practices in employee and family care, as well as assisting future job seekers in locating organizations that share such values. “One of the important points of the Index 2023 is its focus on psychological support and support for veterans. Therefore, companies participating in the Index will be able to demonstrate their social responsibility and ESG strategies in the context of social indicators, attract public attention and talented employees to their employer brand, contribute to their corporate reputation, and understand the best practices that they should seek to implement, says Maryna Saprykina, CEO for CSR Ukraine. Ukrainian companies can participate in the survey by filling out a questionnaire. What the Best Family-Friendly Companies Index 2023 evaluates The corporate culture of balancing work and family life; The workplace and work schedule; The programs and measures providing safety and social support for employees who have families, including during military operations; Programs that provide assistance to employees who have served in or returned from combat, as well as their family members. Who is eligible to take part in the Best Family-Friendly Companies Index 2023? Businesses operating on Ukrainian territory are eligible to participate in the index, with the following exceptions: alcohol companies; tobacco companies; gambling companies; companies recognized as sponsors of terrorism by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention. Companies taking part in the index have to provide information for 2022–2023 and accept responsibility for the reliability of the data. The organizers reserve the right to request documents or excerpts from documents that confirm the reliability of the data from the top 5 scoring companies in the following categories: Large Companies, Medium-sized Businesses, Small Businesses, Micro-enterprises, and TOP 3 companies from each industry. According to the organizers, the Index will assist businesses in implementing and sharing best practices in employee and family care, as well as assisting future job seekers in locating organizations that share such values.

What the Best Family-Friendly Companies Index 2023 evaluates

Who is eligible to take part in the Best Family-Friendly Companies Index 2023?

Businesses operating on Ukrainian territory are eligible to participate in the index, with the following exceptions:

  • alcohol companies;
  • tobacco companies;
  • gambling companies;
  • companies recognized as sponsors of terrorism by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention.

Companies taking part in the index have to provide information for 2022–2023 and accept responsibility for the reliability of the data.
