EBA Recovery committee met with the European Commission Delegation

  The EBA Recovery Committee held a meeting with a delegation from the European Commission, including Elena Višnar Malinovská, Head of Unit Inter-institutional, Coordination of Relief and Reconstruction of Ukraine, Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR). The discussion focused on the development of the Ukraine Investment Framework and strategies for engaging the private sector in Ukraine’s recovery. During the meeting, representatives of the European Commission presented the upcoming Call for Expressions of Interest for EU companies willing to invest in Ukraine, aligned with the EUs strategic priorities. The initiative aims to support the implementation of the Ukraine Investment Framework and ensure the optimal allocation of available funding to priority recovery projects. The EBA Recovery Committee shared the EBA’s key initiatives, including the EBA White Paper with business proposals for Ukraine’s recovery and the EBA Investment Map, which features investment projects from both the private sector and municipalities. The EBA business community is eager to foster effective collaboration with EU institutions to attract investment into Ukraine’s economy and contribute to the country’s long-term recovery.
