Besides users’ data are not stored in third-party storage, but transmitted through a secure cloud server. EPAM servers are not used for the application. The mobile application as well as its server passed multistage checks including a penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities. 35 specialists from EPAM, including engineers, architects, analysts, cyber security professionals and testers participated in the project development. They worked on the DIYA application on volunteer non-paid basis. A non-disclosure agreement was signed by all team members. “DIYA is an ambitious and actual project for Ukraine, which our professionals voluntarily joined. They have invested their time, talent and world-class experience to create a unique product. We hope that collaboration between the Ministry of Digital Transformation and EPAM might become a positive sign and an example to follow for other IT-industry players. Our country possesses an impressive technological expertise and every specialist nowadays has an opportunity to contribute skills into country’s development and improving the quality of life of compatriots”, - Yuri Antoniuk, Vice President, Head of CEE EPAM commented. The architecture of the application developed by EPAM experts will allow adding new features without significant cost. The volunteer team will support the project until the end of February.
