The Power of Collaboration

10/ 04/ 2020
Today is an exceptional time to establish a basis for a strong relationship, where a sense of appreciation and confidence in mutual support remain for a long time. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent economic crisis, the charitable foundation SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES, which has a history of more than 70 years, records a a sharp drop in charitable giving by individuals and by corporate sector. In the current situation of uncertainty, true leaders manifest themselves, as they are clearly aware that the number of people in need of help is growing rapidly and actively invest resources to solve social problems of the society. Thus, the CEO CLUB UKRAINE raised funds for food packages for families in difficult life circumstances, which are under the tutelage of the SOS CHILDRENS VILLAGES UKRAINE. NOVA POSHTA provides the pro-bono service - the delivery of grocery sets and medicines for families in crisis. RADISSON BLU, in connection with the temporary closure of the hotel, have offered food for children in foster care. HYATT REGENCY KYIV took care of hygiene and passed on gloves and a disinfectant. Moreover, 15% of the sale of Easter cakes offered to cover present-day needs of families. If there is no participation and concrete help today, then children from families in crisis could end on the street or in boarding schools tomorrow. There will be no new strong society where everyone has the opportunity to be successful.
