The Head of EBA Odesa met with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine’ representatives

  Thus, on August 31, 2021, Kateryna Morozova, Head of the South Ukrainian Office of the Association, took part in a business meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine (hereinafter - the “Embassy”). Together with Ms. Ira Eisenbrand, Deputy Head of the Economic Department of the Embassy and Ms. Victoria Tarasenko, an employee of the Economic Department of the Embassy, we discussed the main activities of the EBA South Ukrainian and discussed the economy of Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. In particular, Ms. Kateryna outlined the main directions for the development of regional companies, gave examples of cooperation between EBA member-companies and Dutch companies and emphasized their attractiveness for doing business.  During the dialogue identified priority areas for intensifying cooperation with Dutch business. After all, the Southern Ukrainian region is a very interesting and promising place for doing business. In particular, Odesa region is the main sea gate and export-import hub of Ukraine with the following main sectors of regional economy: transport and infrastructure, agriculture, tourism and hospitality, retail, IT sector. In turn, in branch structure of the Mykolaiv area investments in the enterprises of warehousing and transport appointment, the industry and construction branch prevail. Finally, the most attractive for investors in the Kherson region are the enterprises of food industry, agriculture and trade.  Therefore, promising areas for the development of Ukrainian-Dutch cooperation are agro-industrial complex, logistics, advanced port technologies and shipbuilding. At the same time, Dutch flowers and seeds, as well as coconut oil and tobacco are in demand in the domestic Ukrainian market. We hope for further fruitful cooperation and development of mutually beneficial business conditions that will contribute to the development of the economy of the two countries!
