Campaign of the Energy Act For Ukraine Foundation “Light always wins”

26/ 02/ 2025
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyEsJEWAkQE The day that divided millions of lives into before and after. Three years have passed since the full-scale russian invasion began in Ukraine. In honor of three years of resilience and invincibility, we are launching an international information campaign “Light Always Wins.” Its goal is to emphasize that Ukraine i s moving in a pro-European direction, implementing and popularizing renewable energy solutions. The “Light Always Wins” campaign emphasizes the power of solar energy in times of war and its undeniable role in supporting Ukrainians. From the first days of the war, the enemy has been trying to deprive us of light by hitting the energy system. And here are some impo rtant figures: Over 37 GW of generation capacity was lost, 10 GW of which was lost in 2024. Attacks on the Chernobyl NPP and the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, Zaporizhzhia NPP (6 GW) – occupied since March 2022. Power outages lasting 8–10 hours. More than two-thirds of wind turbines have been stopped, and 60% of solar plants have been occupied. But we are not giving up, we continue our work for a bright and sustainable future of Ukraine. Thus, as of December 31, 2024,  we have implemented: ✅  22 hybrid solar stations in 8 regions of Ukraine; ✅  1.5 million people who have felt the changes ; ✅  900 kW of solar capacity and 1 MW of energy storage. We express our sincere gratitude to every partner who understands, supports and helps. This once again highlights our unity, common values and goals. This destructive war must end. And now we need greater unity and support from our partners and like-minded allies. 📢  Share this video to show the world that Light Always Wins!
