Help Ukrainian non-profit organizations by taking a survey

11/ 07/ 2022
A study that examines the psychological and situational factors associated with recovery and resilience The University of Tennessee and The University of Alabama are inviting you to participate in a survey and help Ukrainian non-profit organizations. TAKE A SURVEY HERE The institutions are working on a study that examines the psychological and situational factors associated with recovery and resilience among Ukrainian business owners who have been displaced or had their businesses threatened or disrupted by war. With the 30 minutes survey, universities will assess personality traits, coping strategies, and indices of well-being and resilience to assess the unfolding nature of the trauma business owners are experiencing. Moreover, the present study will speak to the factors involved that allow people to cope with ongoing threats and later understand how Ukrainian entrepreneurs recover from such disasters and help understand the survivors decisions to stay and fight, leave, and return. Other specific goals of this research are to examine: The extent to which any contingency plans they had for potential disaster helped or did not help during the war Entrepreneurs’ experiences of loss and grief from the war (including personal and business loss) Entrepreneurs’ ongoing resilience, coping, and well-being Plans for the future concerning where they will be and what kind of work they will be doing Involvement: Nataliia Yakushko, Ph.D. student in Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Organizations Program at the University of Tennessee Dr. Peter Harms, Associate Professor of Management at the University of Alabama Dr. Melissa Cardon, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Tennessee Dr. David Williams, Associate Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee TAKE A SURVEY HERE
