Foxtrot will transfer UAH 1 million to overcome the consequences of the explosion of the hydroelectric power station in Kakhovka

09/ 06/ 2023
The company joined the initiative of the fundraising platform UNITED24, supporting the collection Lets help the rescuers for the emergency services of Ukraine. The terrible tragedy that occurred on June 6 as a result of Russian troops blowing up the in Kakhovka shook society and once again united large companies. All-Ukrainian retailer Foxtrot, within the framework of the UNITED24 platform initiative and the Lets help the rescuers fundraiser, also contributed to the aid by transferring 1,000,000 hryvnias to the needs of the Emergency Services of Ukraine. The collected funds will be used for the purchase of equipment and machinery to overcome the consequences of an environmental disaster. The list of needs of the State Emergency Service includes boats, motor pumps, lanterns, wetsuits, mobile water purification stations, rescue equipment. Also, water with its power destroys explosive devices and mines, which either detonate due to movement, or are covered with mud, which makes demining difficult. This also requires special equipment. When we talk about human lives, commercial or financial targets take a back seat. And the key question again arises before us: how to be useful for people and the state here and now. Therefore, Foxtrot joins the all-Ukrainian mission in the Kherson region and transfers UAH 1,000,000 to the needs of the emergency services, which are currently saving lives and overcoming the consequences of the catastrophic explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP. The enemy can destroy the dam and commit ecocide, but he is unable to undermine our Ukrainian cohesion, unity and love for our land, - said Oleksiy Zozulya, CEO of the company. In addition, as part of the F-support program implemented by Foxtrot in partnership with the Happy Paw Foundation, the company initiated a special collection to help animals rescued from the flooded area. Every hryvnia will be sent to support evacuated animals from the Kherson region: food for them, emergency aid, medicine and temporary shelter (kennels, shelters, enclosures, etc.). It should be noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Foxtrot has provided equipment for the State Emergency Service and the National Police in 12 regions of Ukraine in the amount of more than UAH 800,000. And during the blackout, the company provided the necessary equipment for setting up 25 points of invincibility in 3 front-line regions - Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv and Kherson. The archive of fundraising activities includes participation in the creation of the worlds first fleet of marine drones on the UNITED24 platform initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the transfer of a tranche of 160,000 hryvnias. In just 1.5 years, the retailer provided more than UAH 16 million in aid to the Defense Forces and injured Ukrainians (as of the beginning of June 2023). The co-founders of the Foxtrot Group of Companies are Gennadii Vykhodtsev and Valerii Makovetskyi.
