EBA Western Ukrainian Office together with the University of Sheffield International Faculty CITY College invites you to the open workshop.  The workshop in question will attempt to shed light on the use of message appeals in communications, and more specifically in advertising.  The various message appeals will be discussed, from celebrity endorsement and fear to humor and sex.  Examples will be presented of success stories involving various types of appeals in a number of industries. Target audience: People in managerial/directorial positions involved in marketing, sales, and any other business department, since the topic to be discussed can be associated with other functions of any modern business too.  Outcome: Participants will be exposed to the types of appeals, their significance, and appropriateness for various goods and services.  The participants will also have a better understanding in handling similar communications efforts and campaigns for maximum effectiveness. Participation fee: 400 UAH for EBA members, for non-members - 800 UAH.
