Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UkraineInvest Daniel Bilak was appointed Director UkraineInvest and Chief Investment Adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of November 1, 2016.A Canadian-qualified lawyer with 26 years of professional experience in Ukraine, he has advised international companies in the energy, agribusiness, infrastructure and technology sectors, most recently as Managing Partner of the Ukraine office of global law firm CMS Cameron McKenna. He has also been Counsel to Ukraine’s Business Ombudsman and a senior governance expert to the Ukrainian government, including twice serving as chief of staff to Ukraine’s Minister of Justice. Daniel is a member of the Senate, the governing body of Ukrainian Catholic University.. Yuliya Kovaliv. Head of the Office of National Investment Council of Ukraine Yuliya Kovaliv has almost ten year experience of executive positions in the energy sector and public administration. Before the creation of NIC Office she served as the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade and was responsible for reforming state enterprises and for investment policy. From April 2016 to April 2017 Yuliya Kovaliv also held the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board in “Naftogaz Ukraine. She was also a member of the state regulator of the National Commission, which perform state regulation in the energy and utilities. In her early career Yuliya worked for Ernst & Young, LLC Financial Consulting Company. For the next three years she held the position of financial director of LLC Gazex Ukraine. From 2011 to 2013 she worked in the Coordination Center for economic reforms. After gaining Bachelor degree in Economics Yuliya Kovaliv continued her training program of economics at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. In 2011 she graduated from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, where she gained a Master of Social Development Management.
