This fact led to the formation of numerous mutual investment institutions, investment funds, and pension funds that form their assets by investing into companies which do the businesses aligned with ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles. Sustainable development indexes have been developed and are actively used in investment practice. They allow investors to make investment decisions based on the analysis of a company`s compliance with the ESG principles and, therefore the inclusion of the company into such indices. What should a company do to ensure the long-term sustainable development of its business and access to this huge «money pie»?
