Free “Business School for Defenders” starts in Ukraine. PrivatBank in partnership with the European Business Association, OLX Ukraine and Mastercard has launched “Business School for Defenders” on the PrivatBank Business Platform. This educational project will provide Ukrainian servicemen and veterans with the knowledge, tools, and support to successfully transition into civil life through entrepreneurship.   The online-course will be free for defenders. It will also be able to be passed by family members who have taken over the business management in the rear while their loved ones are at the front. The training starts on October 22. The first lecture by Svitlana Lemeshko will be on the topic of restructuring thinking and advice on using the skills acquired in the service to run a business. Registration is already open on the PrivatBank Business Platform. We are committed to helping servicemen realize their entrepreneurial dreams through the use of already required skills and the development of new ones. “Business School for Defenders” is aimed at creating and developing one’s own business and obtaining the necessary knowledge and resources for the successful implementation of entrepreneurial ideas. “This project is to a certain extent gratitude to our heroes. We are sincerely convinced that creating one’s own business is the way on which defenders will be able to find both economic independence and a method of adaptation to life after the war. At the same time, it is also an investment in strengthening the future economy of Ukraine”, – said Yevgen Zaigraev, member of the board for corporate business and SMEs. “According to the European Business Association, 43% of small and medium businesses have employees in the ranks of the armed force.  We are looking forward to their return and at the same time we understand that the some of our fellow veterans will need training or retraining. And we strive to help them in this. That’s why we support the operation of this educational project today”, – comments Olena Ero, Head of the Unlimit Ukraine project of the European Business Association. We are pleased to invite everyone to join the first webinar and learn about useful tools and practices for developing your own business. ТOPIC I.
