First impressions are vital for beginning a good working relationship. There are clear cultural differences between Ukrainians and other nationalities, in how we build rapport with a new colleague, client or partner. For example, in countries like the UK, making small talk is very important for building an effective partnership.
Participants will watch the approaches to the first meetings of managers from two different countries (the UK and Germany) and the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. During the business game we will discuss useful approaches when dealing with clients from different cultures. Topics for conversation, questions and phrases that can help make these interactions smoother.
