EBA launches a Hot Desk for professionals interested in security issues

10/ 11/ 2022
The war has brought security issues to the forefront, namely the physical safety of people and business assets, business compliance, cybersecurity, the importance of corporate intelligence, etc.  Bearing in mind the importance of these issues, the Business Security and Protection Committee was established within the European Business Association. At the same time, analyzing the feedback from member companies, we understand that not all of them have security specialists or compliance officers now. In some businesses, these areas are in the process of formation or development. Besides, in general, there is a need to receive professional advice and consultations and learn new experiences as in this sphere technologies and mechanisms are constantly emerging and improving. To support business, the EBA Business Security and Protection Committee has launched a so-called Hot Desk for professionals interested in security issues.  The Hot Desk will provide the following opportunities: To join discussions within the Committee (FYI, the Committee has already held meetings with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, representatives of the National Security and Defense Council, military experts, the Office of the Prosecutor General, etc.) To receive, upon request, general professional advice from the Committees representatives on security issues To keep abreast of the latest trends, tendencies, and mechanisms in the industry (for example, real tools for checking the presence of the counterparty in the sanctions lists) To initiate professional discussions within the Committee on topics of interest To receive the latest news as well as legislative and regulatory updates on security issues Get more details from the Committee Coordinator – Dmytro Kyryliuk, [email protected], +380 67 218 10 37
