EBA participates in Oschadbank and Visa’s annual forum “My Accessibility: Lessons Learned”

09/ 09/ 2026
As part of a dedicated panel organised within the “Business Without Barriers” forum, EBA Executive Director Anna Derevyanko, together with business representatives, discussed how to create accessible products, services and opportunities today, which approaches work in practice, and which mistakes should be avoided. The discussion also focused on simple steps that do not require significant resources but can already make businesses more accessible. The EBA has been consistently working to promote accessibility and raise awareness among businesses. The Association has developed its own accessibility policy and organises training sessions and research to better understand companies’ progress and identify challenges requiring systemic solutions. Business demand for such solutions is growing. That is why the EBA, together with Oschadbank, is initiating the establishment of a joint Accessibility and Inclusion Committee — a platform for sharing practical solutions and expertise, developing a common business position, strengthening advocacy efforts and cooperation with the Government. We thank the forum organisers and the panel speakers — representatives of EBA member companies Nataliia Butkova-Vitvitska, Oschadbank; Olena Kuzmenko, Visa in Ukraine; Oleksandr Tesler, EPAM Ukraine; Anna Tolmachova, METRO Ukraine; Valerii Kushnirenko, PZU; and Tetiana Shyshlova, DTEK Service — for the insightful discussion and practical cases.
