Now we practically do not consume gas - we spend no more than a couple of thousand cubic meters on all elevators: grain purging, commissioning of equipment… But for those who did not have time to dry, the situation is sadder. Now the tariff is about 300-350 UAH per tonne-percent, and imagine what drying will cost if the humidity of corn is 20-22, says Artem Rempen. The first samples of corn were taken from warehouses before the New Year holidays, the quality was quite decent. And now spoiled grain in such batches is already about 11-13% at a humidity of 19%.
