EBA Meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in Kharkiv

  On February 13, 2020, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba met the representatives of the EBA Kharkiv. During the meeting, the achievements and obstacles of Ukraine integration to EC and the perspectives of signing the Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Goods (ACAA) were discussed. The ACAA implementation enforces the “carrot and stick” policy for the national enterprises. On one hand, it provides the advantages of the industrial visa-free regime for Ukrainian industrial goods in the EU. On the other hand, it makes it necessary to upgrade the technologies of manufacturing and to meet the EU quality standards and technical regulations, underlined Mr. Kuleba.   The businesspeople shared their difficulties of entering the EU markets.
