EBA launches Automobile Committee

  The European Business Association announces the official launch of the Automobile Committee — an industry platform bringing together leading market players to represent the interests of legitimate businesses and promote transparent conditions for the development of Ukraine’s automotive sector. The Committee brings together official importers, dealers, manufacturers and related financial institutions. Its aim is to establish clear and level rules for the market and foster effective dialogue with public authorities. The Committee already includes leading companies such as AVIS Ukraine VIP Rent, AWT Bavaria Ukraine, Winner Group Ukraine, Winner Leasing, ViDi Group, VUSO, Porsche Ukraine, Pride Motor, Toyota Ukraine, and ULF-FINANCE. Petro Rondiak, Chairman of the Board of Winner Group Ukraine, has been elected Chair of the Committee. As part of its activities, the Committee will focus on addressing key challenges facing the sector. Its priorities include: supporting efforts to reduce the shadow economy and promote transparent business practices; systematically promoting fair competition; harmonising Ukraine’s regulatory framework with European standards; developing initiatives aimed at simplifying the administration of business processes for automotive companies. By bringing together sector-specific experts and engaged market participants, the Committee will serve as an effective bridge between the private sector and regulators in developing practical and effective legislative solutions.
