EBA Odesa Business Hacks: “Time as a resource and investment. TIME = CAPITAL”

09/ 12/ 2020
Everyone knows famous expression Time is money by Benjamin Franklin, but in the fast lane of life we can lose our sense of time, and therefore the financial part may suffer. Therefore, we decided to consider seriously the topic of time management in the language of money on December 9, 2020 during our meeting in the format of EBA Odesa Business Hacks. In particular, together with our speaker - Vitaliy Gagauz, Director of the Department of Valuation and Mortgage Operations of the Pivdenny Bank, PhD, talked about how to keep the balance between our interests and investing own time. Thus, Mr. Vitaliy has an interesting concept that everyone can be seen as an investment project, and there is a common ground between finances and time. According to this approach, any person can be considered from the standpoint of an enterprise that operates and generates a certain level of income. So, then we evaluating enterprises, the main stages are: audit of the balance (assets and liabilities), analysis of payable accounts  and expenditures, investments and their toxicity, budget, profits, dividends. By analogy, each person has their own balance of active and passive time; accounts payable in the form of loans that we often take in sleep, health, family and hobbies; investments in various areas of life, which we often invest without analysis , mostly unconsciously. As we see, investing your time and investing money are cognate. However, time is more expensive than money. Thanks to the speaker for the valuable insights! We hope the information was useful to you! We wish everyone to receive the highest profits from the competent distribution of own time and calculate it not only with money equivalent, but also with the degree of life’s satisfaction!
