EBA Expert Talk with InterLegal: Transport and International Trade

  An expert discussion on the topic of Transport and International Trade was held in collaboration with specialists of Interlegal International Law Firm (Odessa). The participants in the event had the opportunity to consider important business issues related to cargo transportation, export-import operations, etc. Senior associate Karina Gorova addressed the issues of trade risks in the transportation of goods in containers. She also highlighted the topic of dry ports, prospects for development of this direction, features of working with Ukrzaliznytsia. The interaction of business with the State Regulatory Service of Ukraine was also discussed with associate attorney Dmytro Ochkolyas. Companies’ representatives received advice and professional explanations on the protection of enterprises from illegal actions of the authorities. Moreover, Ms Horova spoke about ways to secure the interests of businesses abroad in the International Commercial Arbitration. Particular attention was paid to the changes in tax legislation. Associate attorney Daria Lyashenko revealed the issues of international realities of working with non-residents, business restructuring, tax amnesty, etc. The Kharkiv office of the Association is grateful to Interlegal experts for the useful information, professional presentation and the opportunity to communicate personally in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere!
