EBA Dnipro Workshop: “Making hard decisions and effective negotiations”

  What is unique offer of your business? How often have you heard this question? We are sure that many times, and maybe right now you are still looking for an answer. But have you ever thought that nowadays, when we are surrounded by a total diversity of everything and there are many offers of goods, services, anything completely identical, we all want to be heard and our requests will be satisfied according to our needs. Do you agree? At the EBA Dnipro Workshop: Making hard decisions and effective negotiations we talked with charming experts Mila Leonova and Olena Lysykh, about methods of successful communication and effective negotiations. In particular, we analyzed the components of nonviolent communication, learned about tools that help make very hard, unpopular decisions, and moreover, we not only talked but also practiced! So some important insights from the meeting: always listen to yourself (especially do not forget about the signs of your body) and depending on the situation, explain the circumstances why you agree or disagree; if you have a request that requires your colleague or opponent to make a decision, give him full freedom of choice; try to find out what is really important to person at the moment, what are his values, and, based on this, find common solutions; if you feel not comfortable in communication on some topics, you should always outline your boundaries in a tolerant way; do not be afraid to refuse and hear the refusal answer, do not give up your interests and comfort; the charisma of a modern leader is the ability to hear people!
