DSV in Ukraine – Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)

06/ 02/ 2025
We are starting the year with great achievements - DSV in Ukraine has officially been recognized as a Trusted Partner by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, actively participating in the international supply chain and confirming compliance with European standards for cargo operations control. As of today, 79 companies in Ukraine, including DSV Logistics, have been granted this status. Recognition of AEO status by customs authorities, such as those in the EU, signifies that European countries trust Ukrainian AEO-certified companies as equal to European ones. As a result, the volume of control measures applied to goods imported by Ukrainian AEO companies into the EU is reduced, facilitating smoother trade operations and expanding export-import opportunities for Ukrainian businesses. For us, this recognition reinforces the core values of the DSV Group: integrity, transparency, and responsibility. The complex and meticulous process of comprehensive review, analysis, and adjustment of procedures to comply with legal requirements has been successfully completed. AEO certification is not just about a department, a division, or even a company - it is about every one of our 240 employees at DSV in Ukraine. Thanks to strong teamwork, alignment with corporate goals, and a firm focus on customer needs, we can assure our customers that all our international supply chain procedures are both efficient and secure for their business. With this certification, DSV in Ukraine now possesses a recognized, compliant accounting system, robust transport and commercial documentation standards, and a commitment to professional competence and qualifications for our employees. Why is this important for our customers? Our AEO status unlocks additional opportunities for business optimization, including: simplified customs procedures at all stages of international transportation, priority processing of customs formalities, lower customs risk levels as determined by the automated customs clearance system, dedicated fast-track lanes for border crossings, expanded international trade opportunities, time and cost savings, along with reduced operational risks. Achieving AEO status is an international recognition of the highest level of trust in us as a logistics operator. We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment and remain committed to moving forward with confidence!
