Dentons advises Better Energy A/S and NEFCO in connection with construction of a 19 MW solar park in Western Ukraine

  Dentons acted as legal counsel to a Danish company Better Energy A/S and the Northern Environmental Financial Corporation (NEFCO) in connection with the construction of a 19 MW solar park in Western Ukraine. The total investment for the project is EUR 6.6 million. The new solar power plant will be constructed in the southern part of Zhytomir oblast. The aim is to start producing green electricity for the Ukrainian grid already during 2018. The solar plant is expected to produce 6,660 MWh of green electricity per year, providing more than 1,000 homes with green electricity. This will reduce CO2 emissions originating in electricity production in Ukraine by approx. 5,500 tonnes annually.
